Who am I ?

I completed my graduate degree in Educational Leadership in the pring of 2004.  I received my B.S. in Occupational Therapy at Quinnipiac College( which has been renamed to Quinnipiac University), in 1989. I have a variety of clinical and mangement experience which ranges from pediatrics, home care, trauma care, acute rehab, geriatrics, and regional management of rehabilitation services for a nursing home company.
If you have already taken one of the classes which I teach, you have participated in some of the ideas, testing procedures and learning techniques which I have studied in grad school.
As I educate you to the importance of application of your knowledge, I also practice what I preach.  Therefore, you will continue to see alternative assessments and enhanced learning and testing strategies throughout your career at Briarwood, in the OTA program.  In addition, your experience is enhanced with real life opportunities in the clinic.  Kathi Krivanec and I believe the best method of preparation is real clinical experience.

Occupational therapy addresses the roles people carry out in life and here are my roles...
