Erica A. DeFrancesco.... holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Florida and her master’s degree from Tufts University, both of which were obtained in Occupational Therapy.  Her employment experiences have been predominantly in mental health, working for four years with adults with psychiatric illness before moving on to a position with geriatrics with mental illness.  She is very excited  to be teaching  at Briarwood with her colleague, Jen, so that they can share their passion for occupational therapy with others.  In her free time, she enjoys yoga and watching college football, especially the Gators!

Jennifer (Hillinski) Thomas .....holds an occupational therapy degree from Boston University and is an OT for the acute geriatric psychiatric unit at Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford.  She enjoys working with patients with cognitive disabilities and consults with co-workers on ways to facilitate best performance for this challenging population. She enjoys the education part of her current job and looks forward to expanding this role at Briarwood.

 Kelly Massucci is the faculty for Pediatrics. Kelly is an occupational therapist with a masters degree in education and she is the executive director of The Talcott Center. Kelly provides a unique learning experience for students with a hands on classroom. Students are able to learn about a diagnosis or deficit and then observe the deficit and participate in treatment.  Please click on the website provided below, to learn more about Kelly and the childrens center.
